Columbarium

Garden

Established in 2022, the Columbarium stands as the sole Catholic inurnment facility in the Coachella Valley and its environs. Situated within the iconic St. Theresa Church, a masterpiece of mid-century modern architecture by renowned architect William F. Cody in Palm Springs, California, the Columbarium offers 847 niches set amidst a serene private courtyard.

Complementing this sacred space, the church features a tranquil Adoration Chapel for moments of prayer and reflection, alongside the main sanctuary and an additional chapel is available for funeral services and inurnment, providing a unified location for all aspects of remembrance and worship.

Adorned with niches along its walls, the courtyard offers a tranquil setting enhanced by a desert landscape and modern polished concrete benches, inviting visitors to meditate and reflect in peaceful surroundings.

Within the courtyard, niches line the walls, crafted from imported marble and granite, offering three size options: single, suitable for single or double occupancy; double, accommodating two to four urns; and large, designed for families with up to eight urns. While niche purchasers must be Catholic, accompanying inurnments are not required to adhere to this faith.

Each niche features a marble face engraved solely with the individual's name and dates of birth and death, ensuring a consistent aesthetic across the Columbarium.

Additionally, the Columbarium offers a dedicated Memorial Wall featuring niches for deceased active duty or veteran military members and their families. Military honors during inurnment can also be provided. Furthermore, a special section is reserved for the inurnment of the unborn, with affordable pricing options.

The Columbarium welcomes visitors every day from 7am to 5pm, extending its hours to 6pm during daylight saving time. To arrange a tour or acquire additional information about the Columbarium, please reach out to:
