September is here! This month is dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows.

What are the 7 Sorrows of Mary?

1.  The Prophecy of Simeon (Luke 2:34-35)

2. The flight into Egypt (Matt. 2:13-21)

3. The loss of the Child Jesus in the Temple (Luke 2:41-50)

4. The carrying of the Cross (John 19:17)

5. The Crucifixion of Jesus (John 19:18-30)

6. Jesus taken down from the Cross (John 19:39-40)

7. Jesus laid in the Tomb (John 19:39-42)

Let's reflect on the words from our friends the saints:

"From Mary we lwarn to surrender to God's Will in all things. From Mary we learn to trust even when all hope seems gone. From Mary we learn to love Christ her Son and the Son of God!"  -St. John Paul II

"Let us bind ourselves tightly to the Sorrowful Heart of our Heavenly Mother and reflect on its boundless grief and how precious is our soul." -St. Padre Pio

"I am your merciful Mother, the Mother of all who love me, of those who cry to me, of those who have confidence in me. Here I will hear their weeping and their sorrows, their necessities and misfortunes. Listen and let it penetrate your heart. " -Our Lady of Guadalupe to St. Juan Diego

"She is who is the Mother of Sorrows and also the Mother of Consolation, can understand you completely and help you." -St. John Paul II
